Meet the Doctor

Dr. Taylor Easter is a Pennsylvania Native, originally from Bedford, PA. She attended Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA for her undergraduate studies, where she obtained a Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Theology. She then went on to attend Life University in Marietta, GA for her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She graduated in December of 2022 and has been serving the Pittsburgh region ever since. She is truly excited to continue serving the Pittsburgh community and cannot wait to meet all the future patients of Taylored Spine Chiropractic.

Dr. Taylor enjoys spending her free time outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, playing soccer and tennis. She loves movie and game nights, as well as concerts/live music. She is an active member of the Catholic church and her family and friends are a very important part of her life.

Diversified Technique

The Diversified Technique is one of the most common and effective chiropractic methods used to restore proper movement and alignment to the spine. Using gentle, precise hands-on adjustments, this technique helps correct areas of restriction or subluxation that can interfere with how your nervous system functions.

Thompson Drop Technique

The Thompson Drop Technique is a gentle, effective chiropractic method that uses a specialized adjusting table with sections that slightly drop during an adjustment. The quick, light drop helps your chiropractor deliver a precise adjustment with less force while still restoring proper alignment and movement in the spine.

This technique is designed to reduce tension, improve nervous system function, and make adjustments more comfortable for patients of all ages.

Activator Method Technique

The Activator Methods Technique uses a small, handheld instrument called the Activator to deliver gentle and precise adjustments to the spine or joints. This method allows your chiropractor to restore proper alignment and improve nervous system function without twisting or cracking.

It’s a comfortable, low-force technique that’s ideal for patients who prefer a lighter touch or have sensitive areas—while still providing effective, targeted results.

Other Therapies/Modalities Offered

Percussion Therapy/Massage Gun

Before an adjustment, we may use a handheld massage gun to gently relax tight muscles and improve blood flow. This helps reduce tension around the spine, making your adjustment more comfortable and effective.

By loosening the muscles first, your body is better prepared to receive the adjustment and hold the correction longer, supporting better overall results.

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization/Graston Technique

Before an adjustment, we may use stainless steel instruments to gently break up tension and restrictions in the muscles and fascia. This technique—often called the Graston Technique—helps improve mobility, reduce tightness, and promote better healing in the soft tissues.

By addressing muscle and fascia tension first, your body can respond more effectively to the chiropractic adjustment and maintain proper alignment more easily.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is a gentle soft tissue technique that uses suction cups to lift and loosen tight muscles and fascia. This helps increase blood flow, reduce tension, and promote relaxation in the targeted area.

When used before an adjustment, cupping helps prepare the body by easing muscle tightness, allowing for a smoother, more effective chiropractic adjustment.
